Train your team on video. Prove they did it.
Attach a knowledge check to any video or help article, then track who passed, who is overdue and whose qualification has expired. Vidocu writes the questions from your own content and grades every attempt on the server.

"Everyone has been trained" is not evidence
Watching a video is not learning it, and a view count is not a record. When an auditor, an insurer or a new safety officer asks who is currently qualified on a procedure, the honest answer is usually a spreadsheet somebody maintains by hand and nobody trusts.
The hard question is not "who passed?". It is "who has not done this yet?" - and that one is unanswerable if the only people in your system are the ones who already showed up.
Vidocu Training answers both. It keeps a roster, puts every person against every training, and shows you the empty cells.
No training content yet? Course Builder turns the SOP or manual you already wrote into narrated video modules, and a knowledge check drops onto each one.
How training works in Vidocu
Generate the knowledge check
Open the Training tab on any video, or any Knowledge Center article. Vidocu writes questions from that content's article and transcript, never from outside knowledge.
Set the rules
Passing score, who has to identify themselves, whether a trainer must sign off, how long the qualification stays valid, and whether the training is mandatory.
Share it
The quiz travels with the content: on a video share link, on a module in a shared course, or under the article in your Knowledge Center.
Track and prove it
Watch pass rates by training, records by person, and the planner grid of everyone against everything. Export any view to CSV.

Knowledge checks that come from your content
The AI writes a first draft from the material you already published. You own every question after that.
Generated from the source
Questions are written from the video's help article and transcript, with an explicit instruction never to test outside knowledge. Multiple choice and true or false.
Edit every question
Rewrite the prompt, add context, change the options, mark the correct answer, add an explanation shown after answering, reorder or delete. Or describe the change and let the AI apply it to your draft.
Graded on the server
The answer key never reaches the browser. Scores are computed server-side on submit, so a quiz cannot be read out of the page source.
You choose who can take it
Open to anyone, name only, name and email, or signed-in Vidocu users. Pick the level of identity you actually need for the record to count.
Trainer sign-off
For procedures where a pass is not enough. The person qualifies only once a trainer confirms them, and there is a queue of everyone waiting.
Expiry and renewal
Set how many days a qualification stays valid. Vidocu tracks expiry, flags lapses, and distinguishes a clean renewal from one that came after a gap.
Availability windows
Lock a training outside a date range when it should only be open for a defined period.
Mandatory and keywords
Mark a training as required and tag it, so the planner can be filtered down to the trainings that actually matter for a given group.
The planner: every training against every person
Most training tools can only see people who have already done something. Vidocu keeps a roster, so somebody who has never opened a quiz still appears on the grid with an empty status. That is the whole point: the gap is the thing you needed to see.
Every combination gets a row with a status, an expiry date, a deadline you can set inline, and a countdown that goes red when it is overdue. Mark a cell not applicable when a training genuinely does not apply to someone, and it stops counting against them without disappearing from the record.
Filter by training, person, status, keyword, mandatory only, overdue only, or by whether the content is approved and published. Sort any column. Export exactly what you are looking at to CSV.
Trainings can sit on a video share link, on a module in a course, or under an article in your Knowledge Center - and the same procedure written up as a step-by-step SOP reads well next to the video.
Four views on the same records
By training
Attempts, average score, pass rate and qualified count per quiz, plus a per-question breakdown so you can see which question everybody gets wrong.
By people
Search anyone and see every training they have taken: result, best score, attempts, trainer sign-off and last attempt, with their own CSV export.
Planner
The full grid, including the people who have done nothing yet. Deadlines, overdue counts, mandatory filters and not-applicable decisions live here.
Awaiting sign-off
A queue of everyone who passed a training that requires trainer confirmation, so nobody sits in limbo. Available to admins and users who can lock content.
Vidocu Training vs. the training spreadsheet
| Feature | Vidocu Training | Spreadsheet and a shared folder |
|---|---|---|
Writing the questions | Generated from the video and its article | Somebody writes them from memory |
Who has NOT been trained | Visible on the planner grid | Only if someone remembered the row |
Where people take it | On the video, the course or the help article | A separate system they forget to open |
Grading | Server-side, answer key never exposed | Self-reported |
Qualification expiry | Tracked, with renewals distinguished from gaps | A reminder in someone's calendar |
Trainer sign-off | Recorded against the person and the training | An initial in a column |
Producing the evidence | Filter the view, export CSV | An afternoon of copy and paste |
Training questions
From your own content. Vidocu generates the knowledge check from the video's help article and transcript, or from a Knowledge Center article, with an explicit instruction to base every question only on that material. You then edit anything you want before publishing, either by hand or by telling the AI what to change.
Three places, all of them where the content already lives: on a shared video link, on a module inside a shared course, and under the article in your Knowledge Center. There is no separate portal for learners to log into.
Only if you want them to. Each training sets its own rule: open to anyone, name only, name and email, or a signed-in Vidocu user. Taking a training is never limited by your plan, only creating and measuring them is.
You add them to the roster with an email, and they immediately appear against every training in the list. The email is how records are matched, so it is the same identity used everywhere else in training. People discovered from past attempts are merged in automatically.
Both mean the person is qualified today. "Renewed" means the qualification lapsed at some point and was earned again, which is a documented gap that periodic re-training regimes care about. Renewing early, before expiry, stays "passed".
Yes. Turn on trainer sign-off for that training and passing the quiz is no longer enough: the person shows as awaiting sign-off until a trainer confirms them, and there is a dedicated queue for working through them.
Every view exports to CSV: the training summary, a single person's record, and the planner grid with whatever filters you have applied. The planner export runs the same query as the grid, so what you see is what you get.
Every paid plan. Creating and measuring trainings is a paid feature; taking one is never gated, so the people you are training do not need a plan of their own.
Stop guessing who has been trained.
Turn a video you already made into a knowledge check, and get a record you can hand to an auditor.
